The Crazy World of.... Otto Muhl

O experienta unica si irepetabila o reprezinta filmele-experiment ale lui Otto Muhl, de fapt un stil de cinema "underground", in care cuvintele-cheie sunt: non-arta, nuditate explicita, degradare, experiment uman si animal, excentric, arta subversiva si psychedelic. Pentru anii '60-'70 un astfel de discurs nu este prea "comod" si greu de asumat la nivel social, insa nu poate fi ignorata actualitatea unor astfel de teme, din pacate! In numele unor abordari asa-zis "moderne", se intampla sa fim martorii unor "repuneri" in scena a celor mai importante repere in cultura umanitatii. Nu exista limite cand "umanul" este inlocuit de "animalic", ratiunea de haos si caracterul integru de duplicitate.

Vizionand filmele de scurta durata marca Muhl si aruncand o privire fugara peste picturile sale "indraznete", am inteles ca "a te revolta" capata alte sensuri mai putin nobile, de fapt macabre si insolente fata de arta.  Ca urmare a socului vizual si emotional, aveam nevoie de un raspuns, de o incadrare intr-un "curent" sau "stil". Cautarile mele si-au gasit rezolvarea in  sintagma "trangressive art", care desemneaza tocmai aceasta trecere in non-conventional, in absurdul exprimarii artistice, dincolo de orizontul personal de intelegere si acceptare constienta sau inconstienta.

In toate experimentele cine-vizuale ale lui Muhl, mediate de camera de filmat, corpul uman coboara din tablouri si capata materialitate pentru a deveni un simplu obiect de studiu si de "distrugere" a conventionalului. Psycho-motorische Gerauschaktion (1967), Psychotic-Party (1970) , Der Geile Wotan (1971) sunt documentele video cele mai elocvente pentru crezul artistic din spatele omului Muhl:

In 1970, I took a decisive step from making art into shaping reality, and founded a living community. This developed very rapidly into a commune with the new lifestyle of the extended family group. Children and art stood at the center of this social project, which lasted twenty years, and at its peak totaled 700 members. The majority came from Germany and France, a few from Norway and Sweden, several from Holland, England, Austria, Denmark, and the USA. It was a social experiment with collective property, free sexuality, and collective children's education, and involved the private instruction and higher-level education of children and adults in the fine and performing arts, including: music, dance, theater, film, self-expression, painting, actionist art, and work in our own workshops and business enterprises. This time the actions were not carried out by me alone, but by all of the members: it was a commune of actionist life-praxis. Actionist art is distinguished by not aiming at an end result, but seeking to become a practice where all the developmental possibilities of a conceptualized project can be acted out. 

De aceasta data nu voi prezenta vreun document video din "opera" muhliana care sa evidentieze ideile de mai sus, din motive certe de "content" de care youtube se fereste, cu exceptia desigur a altor anomalii pe care le accepta in propria e-ograda.
